Maria Stimpson
Maria is a partner at Allen & Overy specialising in UK pensions law and practice. As well as advising scheme sponsors and trustees on all aspects of occupational pension scheme provision, she has over 20 years' experience in handling the often complex pensions issues in the context of corporate and banking transactions. Clients have commented on her "strength in understanding the detail". Maria's recent projects include working with her clients on closing their final salary schemes, establishing CARE plans, finding novel ways of managing scheme deficits, best practice around defined contribution benefit provision, looking at auto-enrolment and its likely impact, and dispute resolution.
